Armed with the philosophy that everyone is born with artistic ability, Denise Lucas skillfully nurtures those talents in both beginning and more advanced students through hands-on instructional workshops for children and adults. During each workshop, Denise instructs students on the art of drawing and watercolor painting, including how to see like an artist, forms and shapes, the use of line and values, spatial relationships, design and composition, perspective, color theory, a touch of art history and the use of watercolors as a medium.
